Shaghayegh Shariat is a passionate choreographer and dance instructor based in Ontario, Canada, and the founder of Dealan Dance — a space dedicated to the art of movement and feminine expression. Her classes beautifully weave together Persian classical, folkloric, and contemporary fusion styles, creating an experience that is both cultural and empowering. Through rhythm, emotion, and connection, Shaghayegh inspires women to rediscover their strength, embrace their identity, and express their stories through the universal language of dance.

Everything You Need to Know Before You Dance

What should I bring to class?

Just bring yourself, comfortable workout clothes, and a bottle of water! We provide mats, props, and any equipment you might need. If you prefer, you’re welcome to bring your own mat as well.

Absolutely! Our classes are open to all levels — from complete beginners to advanced dancers. Each session is designed to help you move at your own pace while having fun and feeling confident.

Most classes are 60 minutes, including warm-up and cool-down. Some specialty sessions (like TRX or choreography workshops) may vary slightly, but we’ll always let you know in advance.

You can easily book your spot through our online schedule on the website or directly via Instagram DM. Just choose your class, select a time, and confirm your spot — it’s quick and easy!

Yes — your first trial class is completely free! It’s the perfect way to experience the vibe, meet the instructor, and see if Dealan Dance feels right for you.
